Resident’s advertise upcoming summer fete at Avocet House

Our residents at Avocet House love supporting their home and the events and activities we hold.

So even though it was it was one of our residents’ birthdays she still wanted to get out in our community to deliver leaflets for our summer fete.

Mary who has been at Avocet house Since it opened back in 2021 loves getting involved and it’s so nice when we can take her out in the community. Mary commented ‘I love being able to still feel a part of the community that I grew up in and have been a part of all my life.’

Lifestyle Manager Vick commented, ‘It is great being able to share these outings with our residents, we think it’s so important that they spend time within the community,’
